Grand Inauguration by Sports Minister
The tournament was formally inaugurated by the State Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Tinku Roy. After ceremonial lamp lighting and the inaugural serve, the Minister addressed the gathering of young athletes and sports enthusiasts.
In his speech, Minister Roy emphasized the government’s commitment to “Khelo Tripura, Sustha Tripura,” highlighting that tennis is gaining significant momentum in the state. He encouraged players to maintain a spirit of healthy competition and aim for national-level excellence.
