On May 1, 2025, 59-year-old Dhaleshwar resident Shri Ajoy Saha set out on a journey from Agartala to Ladakh on a regular bicycle, covering a total of 4760km. He reached Ladakh in just 60 days, showcasing an incredible feat of courage and determination.
The main purpose behind his arduous journey was to send a message to the future generations of India. The message was simple – always ride a bicycle, take care of your health, keep the environment clean, and support yourself with your own earnings. This was the core message that drove him to undertake this challenging expedition.
Today, he is being praised and congratulated by the leading environmental and social organization, Best Earth Society. The founder of the organization, Mr. Biplab Kanti Bhomick, along with other members, were present to honor him for his remarkable achievement.
