Agartala: The 69th National School Games Yogasana competition was held at the NSRCC (Netaji Subhas Regional Coaching Centre), Agartala, marking a significant milestone as Yogasana continues to gain recognition at the national school level.
The event was attended by Tinku Roy, Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, along with officials from the sports department, organisers, coaches, and participants from various states.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister highlighted the importance of Yogasana in promoting physical fitness, mental discipline, and overall well-being among students. He said the inclusion of Yogasana in the National School Games reflects India’s commitment to preserving and promoting its traditional wellness practices among the younger generation.
