A seven-day Traditional Folk & Song Workshop, organised by the National Youth Project Tripura State Council, concluded on Wednesday at the Agartala Press Club. The workshop aimed to preserve and promote Tripura’s rich cultural heritage among the youth, offering training in traditional music, folk instruments, and indigenous performance styles.
Participants showcased their learnings through live performances during the closing ceremony, earning appreciation from organisers and cultural enthusiasts. Officials from the National Youth Project highlighted that such programmes play a crucial role in strengthening cultural identity and encouraging young talent across the state.
The organisers expressed their commitment to continue similar initiatives to keep Tripura’s folk traditions alive and relevant for future generations.
