Tripura Leader of Opposition Jitendra Chaudhury has strongly criticized Tipra Motha Party founder Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma for allegedly failing to control his party workers. The criticism comes in the wake of a recent attack on the BJP’s Mann Ki Baat program, which Chaudhury claims was carried out by Tipra Motha workers out of frustration.
The incident occurred on Sunday at Asha Ram Bari under Khowai District, where seven BJP party workers were injured during the Mann Ki Baat program. According to reports, Tipra Motha Party workers were responsible for the attacks. While Pradyot has denied these allegations, he suggested that the attack was actually orchestrated by CPIM due to a personal feud with the Mandal President of the area, who was formerly a CPIM leader.
Contrary to Pradyot’s claims, Jitendra Chaudhury, who is also the CPIM State Committee Secretary, refuted the allegations and stated that the attack was indeed carried out by Tipra Motha Party workers. He criticized Pradyot for failing to take action against party workers who were once affiliated with CPIM, leading to such violent incidents.
Chaudhury pointed out that during CPIM’s tenure in power, they never resorted to attacking other party’s programs, and questioned Pradyot’s leadership abilities. He emphasized that Pradyot’s failure to control his party workers has resulted in such violent outbursts, and warned that if not addressed, the situation may escalate further.
In conclusion, Chaudhury warned Pradyot that his days as a leader are numbered if he continues to neglect the issue of party worker violence. He urged Pradyot to take immediate action and control the situation before it gets out of hand.
