Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha delivered a scathing criticism of the opposition CPIM during a recent public address, accusing the party of fostering terrorism while praising the BJP for bringing peace to the state.
Speaking at a gathering, Saha asserted that the people of Tripura have come to understand that true development can only be achieved with the BJP in power. He claimed that the CPI(M) and Congress have historically exploited the Janajati community for political gain, using them as a mere vote bank.
Welcoming 610 new members into the BJP, Saha highlighted recent incidents of violence targeting party members during non-political events, such as the popular ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program. He declared the BJP’s commitment to standing by its members in the face of such attacks and emphasized the party’s rejection of violence in politics.
Saha went on to emphasize the BJP’s focus on development and peace, contrasting it with the alleged violent tactics employed by the CPI(M) and Congress during their rule. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for prioritizing development in the Northeast region and ensuring peace and progress in Tripura.
The Chief Minister also criticized the CPI(M) for failing to recognize the contributions of Maharaja Bir Bikram to Tripura’s development, contrasting this with the BJP’s efforts to restore respect for the Manikya Dynasty and champion the development of the Janajati community.
In conclusion, Saha stressed the importance of unity for the progress of Tripura, asserting that the BJP’s focus on development, peace, and respect for all communities is essential for the state’s growth and prosperity.
