The Tripura Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up for the upcoming Village Council (VC) and Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections, as stated by Chief Minister Manik Saha on September 3. The CM reiterated the party’s dedication to the welfare of the Janajati community during a special organisational meeting of the BJP Janajati Morcha held at the Pradesh BJP office.
During the meeting, CM Saha emphasized the importance of understanding and addressing the challenges faced by the Janajati community. He expressed the party’s commitment to serving the people and building trust among the electorate, stating that preparations for the elections are well underway.
Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, Saha highlighted the various initiatives launched since 2014 for the welfare of Janajatis, which were previously overlooked. He emphasized the Tripura government’s dedication to inclusive development, particularly in tribal areas, to ensure progress and prosperity for all residents of the state.
Furthermore, the chief minister assured that the BJP’s organisational machinery is fully mobilized for both the VC and TTAADC polls, with a strong focus on reaching out to every corner of Tripura. The meeting was attended by BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharya, Tripura-Assam General Secretary (Organisation) Ravindra Raju, Tribal Welfare Minister Bikas Debbarma, Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma, Janajati Morcha President Parimal Debbarma, along with district- and mandal-level Morcha karyakartas.
