Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha has lauded the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) impressive performance in the Bihar Assembly elections, indicating a growing acceptance of the party nationwide. Dr. Saha expressed his satisfaction with the results, attributing the success to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
During his campaign for three BJP candidates in West Champaran—Bagaha, Ramnagar (SC), and Narkatiaganj—Dr. Saha witnessed the BJP leading in all three constituencies. He emphasized that this was just the beginning of the BJP’s expanding influence across states and thanked PM Modi, BJP National President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Nitish Kumar for their hard work.
Dr. Saha also pointed out that the voters’ aversion to the governance record of Lalu Prasad Yadav has made it unlikely for him to return to power. He noted the chaos and lawlessness that prevailed during Yadav’s rule, stating that people are wary of a repeat.
Looking towards the future, Dr. Saha predicted a similar political shift in West Bengal, asserting that the BJP would soon form the government in the state. He expressed optimism about the positive changes that such a shift would bring to India as a whole.
The Tripura Chief Minister’s comments come in the wake of significant developments in Bihar’s political landscape and reflect the BJP’s growing influence in various regions of the country. As the BJP continues to make strides in state elections, its impact on national politics is becoming increasingly evident.
