Agartala: The Tripura Education Department reinforced the state’s teaching cadre on Monday by distributing appointment offer letters to 157 candidates at the Muktadhara Auditorium in Agartala.
The ceremony, which marked a significant step in strengthening the state’s education system, saw offer letters distributed for both Physical Education and general Teacher posts.
Chief Minister Prof (Dr.) Manik Saha graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his address, he emphasized the government’s commitment to filling vacancies and ensuring quality education delivery across all levels.
A host of distinguished officials from the education sector were also present. Key attendees included:

In total, 157 individuals received their official appointment letters, providing a major employment boost and ensuring that schools across the state will benefit from a fresh cohort of dedicated teaching professionals. The presence of top officials highlighted the integrated effort across the Primary and Secondary education wings to streamline the recruitment process.
