Agartala observed the 136th birth anniversary of revolutionary freedom fighter Khudiram Bose with solemnity and respect today. Members of the Khudiram Bose Memorial Committee offered floral tributes at the marble statue of Khudiram Bose located in front of the Ujjayanta Palace.
Committee representatives recalled Bose’s unwavering courage and sacrifice for India’s independence, describing him as one of the youngest martyrs of the freedom movement. They stressed the importance of keeping his legacy alive among the younger generation and fostering a spirit of patriotism.
The commemorative programme drew the participation of citizens, students, and admirers who gathered to honour the revolutionary hero. The Memorial Committee pledged to continue its efforts to preserve the memory and ideals of Kuhudiram Bose.
