A seven-day special programme centred on the theme of ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) was inaugurated at Ramnagar Higher Secondary English Medium School under the initiative of the National Service Scheme (NSS). The event aims to inspire students toward nation-building, social responsibility, and community development.
Agartala Mayor and MLA Deepak Majumder attended the opening ceremony as a chief guest, along with teachers, NSS volunteers, and local dignitaries. In his address, the Mayor highlighted the importance of youth engagement in shaping a progressive India and praised the NSS for fostering leadership, discipline, and social awareness among students.
The week-long programme includes activities such as cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, health workshops, cultural sessions, and interactive discussions aligned with the vision of a modern and developed nation.
School authorities expressed gratitude for the participation and support from civic leaders and emphasised the long-term benefits of such programmes in nurturing responsible citizens.
