Agartala, Tripura: Assam Rifles organised a Run for Fun programme at Radhanagar on December 16, 2025, to commemorate Vijay Diwas, marking India’s historic victory in the 1971 war. The event was held to honour the courage, sacrifice, and valour of the Indian Armed Forces.
The run witnessed enthusiastic participation from Assam Rifles personnel, local residents, and students, reflecting a collective spirit of patriotism, unity, and respect for the nation’s brave warriors. Participants ran with great zeal, carrying the national flag and raising slogans celebrating national pride and unity.
The initiative aimed to spread awareness among youth and the local community about the significance of Vijay Diwas and the sacrifices made by soldiers to safeguard the nation’s freedom and sovereignty. The presence of civilians alongside uniformed personnel highlighted strong civil-military bonding and community engagement.
