Agartala, Tripura: A programme related to the Land Resource Survey was held at Pragna Bhavan in Agartala, focusing on scientific land assessment and sustainable agricultural planning in the state. The programme brought together senior officials and experts from the agriculture sector to review progress and future strategies.
Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath attended the programme along with Agriculture Department Secretary Apurba Roy. Also present were Director of Agriculture Phani Bhushan Jamatia, State Nodal Officer of the Agriculture Department Dr Uttam Saha, and other senior officials and technical experts.
During the programme, speakers highlighted the importance of land resource surveys in improving agricultural productivity, crop planning, and efficient utilisation of land resources. The survey data, they noted, would play a crucial role in policy formulation, soil health management, and long-term agricultural development in Tripura.
Officials emphasized coordinated efforts between departments to ensure accurate data collection and effective implementation of survey findings on the ground.
