Agartala, Tripura: Condemning what it described as war-mongering by US imperialism and protesting against the alleged attack on Venezuela, the Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) (SUCI) organised a protest meeting at the Battala area of Agartala.
Addressing the gathering, SUCI leaders criticised the policies of the United States, accusing it of pursuing aggressive imperialist actions that threaten global peace and sovereignty of independent nations. Speakers expressed solidarity with the people of Venezuela and called for an end to military interventions and economic coercion.
The protest meeting highlighted concerns over rising global conflicts and urged people to unite against war-driven policies. Party leaders emphasised the need for peace, international solidarity, and resistance to imperialism.
The programme concluded with slogans against war and imperialism and a call for safeguarding world peace.
