“Service to Humanity is True Worship”: Mayor Dipak Majumder
In his inaugural address, Mayor Dipak Majumder emphasized that the teachings of the Ramthakur Ashram have always prioritized the welfare of the common man.
”Shrimat Bhavatosh Bandyopadhyay Maharaj showed us the path of selfless service. Today, by organizing this blood donation festival, the Ashram is ensuring that his legacy lives on through the lives saved by these donors. In this intense summer heat, our blood banks often face shortages, and such initiatives by spiritual organizations are vital for our healthcare system,” the Mayor stated.
A Growing Movement of Voluntary Donation
Ashram officials noted that the “Blood Donation Festival” is not just a one-day event but a part of their broader commitment to social upliftment. The organizers expressed their gratitude to the donors, particularly the youth, for their enthusiastic response, which resulted in a significant collection of blood units for the city’s referral hospitals.
The program concluded with a prayer for universal peace and the distribution of certificates to all voluntary participants.
