AGARTALA: Strengthening its grassroots organizational grid ahead of upcoming structural and legislative transitions, the 6-Agartala Mandal unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) successfully rolled out the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan today. The intensive cadre training workshop was hosted at the Radhanagar Hindi School campus in Agartala.
The party convention was inaugurated by Kalyani Roy, Chief Whip of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, who attended as the Chief Guest. She was joined on the dais by senior block office-bearers, district committee members, and key ideological trainers of the 6-Agartala constituency.
The training session officially commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before the portraits of Bharat Mata, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Syama Prasad Mookerjee.
A Structural Blueprint for Grassroots Leadership
The state-wide Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan functions as a mandatory organizational framework designed by the BJP central command to align ground-level party workers with the core tenets of Integral Humanism (Ekatma Manavvad) and strategic public outreach techniques.
Key Operational Modules Covered at the Radhanagar Workshop:
- Ideological Clarity: Imparting intensive training on the foundational history, socio-political principles, and cultural ethos of the party to sharpen the cadre’s public communication skills.
- Welfare Scheme Integration: Familiarizing local booth workers with the structural technicalities of flagship central and state government subsidy tracks to ensure frictionless execution at the last mile.
- Digital Data Mapping: Training younger party workers in using intra-party digital e-office platforms and managing localized public relations drives across individual neighborhoods.
“Trained and Disciplined Workers are the Real Assets of Our Party”: Chief Whip Kalyani Roy
Addressing the dense gathering of active party cadres and local booth level agents at the Radhanagar Hindi School auditorium, Government Chief Whip Kalyani Roy emphasized that political durability rests entirely on selfless field execution.
”The BJP does not operate as a seasonal political platform that wakes up only during election cycles. We are a cadre-based, ideologically driven movement that works 365 days a year for the welfare of the common public. This Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan is a vital exercise to keep our ground network disciplined, technically sharp, and deeply aligned with our core values.
As party workers, your primary task is to serve as a reliable bridge between the administration and the public. You must actively sit down with local families, educate them on active healthcare, housing, and pension benefits, and help them navigate administrative pipelines. When our workers are trained and empathetic, the party’s grassroots base becomes absolutely unbreakable. I urge the 6-Agartala Mandal leaders to carry the learning from these eight core subjects directly into every single household in this constituency,” Chief Whip Kalyani Roy announced to the party workers.
Following the inaugural technical sessions, the senior leadership held localized feedback loops with booth committee presidents to evaluate immediate regional challenges and streamline the distribution of welfare literature ahead of the rainy season.
