The Assam Rifles, a paramilitary force under the Ministry of Home Affairs, organized a cycling event in Radhanagar, Tripura as part of the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative on 21 July. The event aimed to promote unity, fitness, and environmental awareness among the residents of the region.
A total of 40 civilians from different age groups participated in the event, riding alongside Assam Rifles personnel through the city of Radhanagar. The diverse group of participants, which included young students and senior citizens, showcased the spirit of togetherness and healthy living as they cycled together.
The cycling event not only focused on physical well-being but also emphasized the importance of unity and shared cultural identity, which are core values of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat program. The participants were lauded for their enthusiasm and active participation in promoting these ideals during the event.
