Agartala, Nov 22:
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a press conference at its Krishnanagar state office in Agartala on Thursday, addressing recent political developments and organizational concerns.
Speaking to the media, BJP State Vice President Subal Bhowmik expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and the state cabinet for approving 400 government job recruitments, a decision announced two days ago by Minister Sushanta Chowdhury in the cabinet meeting. He said the move has brought hope to hundreds of unemployed youths across Tripura and highlighted the government’s commitment to job creation and development.
Bhowmik also strongly condemned the alleged attacks on BJP workers in various areas by members of TIPRA Motha. He accused the regional party of instigating violence and disrupting peace in the state.
“Political differences should never result in violence. We appeal for democratic conduct and respect for law and order,” he stated.
He further urged the administration to take strict action against those responsible for the incidents and to ensure the safety of BJP workers across Tripura.
The press conference was attended by party officials, spokespersons, and local media representatives.
