As part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of the Border Security Force (BSF), a spirited bike rally was organised on Tuesday from Salbagan to Gokulnagar in Agartala. The event highlighted the BSF’s legacy of service, vigilance, and dedication in safeguarding India’s borders.
BSF personnel participated in large numbers, riding in formation and carrying the national flag to symbolise unity and commitment. The rally attracted public attention along the route, with citizens expressing appreciation for the force’s contribution to national security.
Officials stated that the Diamond Jubilee year is dedicated to honouring the sacrifices and achievements of BSF personnel since its establishment in 1965. Various commemorative programmes, community outreach activities, and cultural events are being held across the country as part of the celebration.
The rally concluded at Gokulnagar with a brief interaction session and messages reinforcing the BSF’s continued mission of protecting the borders with courage and professionalism.
