In a significant move to streamline state administration and accelerate development, Cabinet Minister Sushanta Chowdhury held a high-level press conference at the Secretariat today. - Employment Generation: The Cabinet has given the green light for recruitment in various government departments to fill essential vacancies, particularly focusing on the Education and Health sectors.
- Infrastructure Push: Significant funds have been earmarked for the improvement of rural road connectivity and the expansion of drinking water facilities under state-run schemes.
- Social Security & Welfare: Proposals were discussed to enhance the reach of social pension schemes and provide better support systems for the state’s farming community.
