Vendors, however, remain hopeful as two more days are left before Christmas. Speaking to the media, one seller said that people are showing interest in different products and footfall is gradually increasing, which could lead to improved business in the coming days.
Markets are currently displaying decorative items, gifts, Christmas trees, lights, Santa caps, and other festive essentials, creating a lively atmosphere across the city. Traders believe that last-minute shoppers may help boost sales before Christmas Day.
