The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET): Centre for Skilling and Technical Support (CSTS) – Agartala successfully organized a two-day workshop at Pragya Bhavan, focusing on skill development and technical training in the petrochemical and industrial sectors. The event brought together key industry leaders, technical experts, and government officials to discuss advancements in industrial training, workforce development, and technical skill enhancement.

The workshop was graced by several notable personalities from Tripura’s industrial and technical sectors, including:
- Shri Nabadal Banik, Chairman, of Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (TIDC), emphasized the state’s commitment to strengthening technical education and industry collaboration.
- Dr. Harekrishna Deka, Officer-in-Charge, CIPET Guwahati, who highlighted the importance of industry-aligned training programs for the next generation of skilled professionals.
- Shri Sanjeev Kumar Jhanjua, ED-Asset Manager (Desinet), ONGC Tripura Asset, who shared insights into the role of ONGC in technical skill development and employment opportunities in Tripura.
- Shri Sourajit Bose, Officer-in-Charge, CIPET Agartala, who discussed the expanding role of CIPET in enhancing workforce readiness for the petrochemical sector.
