The Agartala Municipal Corporation’s Ward No. 20 organized a winter clothes distribution programme for local residents on Friday. Chief Minister Professor Dr Manik Saha attended the event as the chief guest and personally handed over winter garments to the beneficiaries.Ward No. 20 Councillor Ratna Dutta, Sadar District President Asim Bhattacharjee, Mandal President and several other leaders and public representatives were also present on the occasion.Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister appreciated the humanitarian initiative and emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting poor and needy people during the harsh winter season. The programme was warmly welcomed by local residents, who expressed gratitude for the timely assistance.
