Agartala, Tripura: The foundation stone of the proposed water infrastructure project at Netaji Adarsha Shiksha Mandir, located at Master Para, will be laid by the Chief Minister on December 30. Ahead of the formal launch, a site inspection was carried out on Thursday by senior civic and water supply officials.
Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder visited the site along with Drinking Water and Sanitation (Water Board) CEO Mihir Kanti Gopal, Ward No. 20 Corporator Ratna Dutta, and other concerned officials. The inspection focused on assessing preparedness and finalising arrangements for the upcoming foundation stone-laying ceremony.
Officials reviewed the site conditions and discussed logistical aspects to ensure smooth implementation of the project once work begins. The initiative is expected to play a significant role in strengthening water supply infrastructure in the surrounding areas.
Local representatives stated that the project reflects the state government’s commitment to improving basic civic amenities and ensuring safe drinking water for residents.
