Child mortality allegations baseless – Dr. Chiranjib Deb
Dr. Chiranjib Deb, an obstetrician and gynecologist at Kailashahar’s Arjijem Hospital, has refuted recent allegations surrounding the recent child mortality case as completely baseless. Speaking at a press conference today, he revealed that a woman named Bulti Debnath was admitted on July 11th and gave birth to a child on the morning of July 12th. Due to complications with the newborn’s health, the baby was transferred to a private hospital and unfortunately passed away on the evening of July 13th.
Dr. Deb alleges that despite the child’s death occurring in the evening, the baby’s father posted on social media at noon blaming Arjijem Hospital, which he claims is false and motivated by ulterior motives. He stated, “Perhaps the hospital’s development is not tolerable to some malicious circles.”
Nurse Ferdousi Begum, Pinky Saha, and other healthcare workers were present at the press conference as well. They all expressed concern that such rumors are being spread with the intention of tarnishing the hospital’s reputation. Dr. Deb reassured, “Arjijem Hospital will continue to work tirelessly to maintain the trust of the people.”
