The family of Raj Singh Kushwaha, one of the accused in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, is vehemently denying his involvement in the crime. With the investigation into the high-profile case intensifying, Raj’s family members have spoken out, pleading for his innocence.
Raj’s sister, in an emotional plea to the media, stated, “Vicky and Raj both are my brothers. They can never do something like this. My brother Raj did not go anywhere. You can ask the people at his office. My only demand is that my brother should be released. He is not involved in the murder. My brother is innocent.” Raj’s mother also echoed her daughter’s sentiments, insisting that her son, who is just 20 years old, could not have committed such a heinous crime. She urged the government to prove his innocence and release him.
The murder of Raja Raghuvanshi has shocked the state of Meghalaya and has now captured national attention. Five arrests have been made so far, including that of the victim’s wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi. Raj’s family has urged investigators to examine his workplace records and speak to his colleagues to verify his whereabouts at the time of the murder.
Meanwhile, Sonam Raghuvanshi, who is also accused in her husband’s murder, is expected to arrive at Guwahati airport today, June 10. She will be transported to Meghalaya for further investigation and legal proceedings as the state has obtained a seven-day transit custody for her. The Shillong Police will be responsible for transporting Sonam from Ghazipur to Patna by road, then flying her to Guwahati on a commercial flight before taking her to Shillong.
In total, three accused individuals have been placed in the transit custody of the Meghalaya police for seven days as the investigation into the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case continues. The family of Raj Singh Kushwaha remains firm in their belief in his innocence and continues to advocate for his release.
