Five young men narrowly escaped with their lives in a terrifying road accident in Bamutia this morning. The incident took place in the Berimura area of Bamutia under the jurisdiction of Bamutia police station. It is reported that the accident occurred due to excessive speed, causing the Tata Tiago car with registration number TR 01 BU 0443 to lose control and crash into a tree near the roadside house.
Fortunately, although the car was severely damaged, neither the driver nor the five passengers inside were injured. A local youth who heard the crash rushed to the scene and helped the occupants out of the vehicle. Locals speculate that the group may have been returning from a traditional worship ceremony at the ancient Agartala Chouddo Devata Temple and were possibly feeling unwell, leading to the driver losing control at high speed.
