The foundation stone laying and ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a new office building was held on Friday in Ward No. 31 under the Central Zone of the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC). The foundation stone was jointly laid by Tripura Pradesh BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee and AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder.The event was attended by Ward No. 31 Councillor Anjana Das, other public representatives, municipal officials, and local residents. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor said the new office building would strengthen the ward’s administrative system and ensure smoother and faster delivery of civic services to the public. He expressed hope that the new facility would improve coordination between the municipal authorities and residents, making public service delivery more accessible and efficient. The ceremony was marked by a festive atmosphere with enthusiastic participation from the local community.
