News Report:
The Tripura Sports Karate Association will be represented by four players—two boys and two girls— at the National Junior and Sub-Junior Karate Championship to be held at Jadavpur, Kolkata. The one-day national championship is scheduled to begin on 28 December.
Ahead of the competition, the four selected players have been undergoing rigorous training for the past two months with a single objective—to deliver strong performances at the national level and bring laurels to the state.
On Monday, the Tripura Sports Karate Association felicitated the players at its coaching centre located at Prantik Club, Dhaleswar. Coaches and association officials encouraged the athletes and expressed confidence in their preparation and discipline.
The association stated that participation in national-level tournaments is crucial for nurturing young talent and strengthening Tripura’s presence in competitive karate at the national stage.
