The Golden Jubilee celebration of Sri Sri Ram Thakur Seva Mandir, located at Banamalipur in Agartala, was successfully concluded after an eight-day-long series of religious, social, and cultural events. The celebrations began on January 9 and witnessed enthusiastic participation from thousands of devotees from different parts of Tripura.The Seva Mandir was established in 1977 following the guidance and blessings of the fourth Mohant Maharaj of Sri Sri Ram Thakur, revered Srimat Bhavatosh Bandyopadhyay, with the collective efforts, dedication, and devotion of spiritual followers and devotees.The auspicious inauguration of the Golden Jubilee celebrations was performed by the seventh Mohant Maharaj of Sri Sri Ram Thakur from Kaibalyadham, Chattogram, revered Srimat Kalipada Bhattacharjee. The entire event was conducted under his spiritual leadership and supervision.On January 10, a grand religious procession was organized in Agartala city, led by the Mohant Maharaj. Devotees, including spiritual brothers and sisters from various Seva Mandirs across the state, joined the procession. Nearly 10,000 devotees participated, making it one of the most significant highlights of the celebration.As part of social welfare initiatives, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized on January 11 at the temple premises. The program was inaugurated by Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder. Additionally, fruits and sweets were distributed among cancer patients to mark the occasion.Cultural programs featuring prominent local artists were organized in the evenings and attracted large audiences. On January 12, a special kirtan program was performed by renowned West Bengal artist and Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa fame Padmapalash Halder, which received an overwhelming response from devotees and music lovers.The organizing committee expressed gratitude to all devotees, volunteers, and supporting organizations for their cooperation and stated that the Golden Jubilee celebration was successfully conducted through collective effort and devotion.
