On Saturday, the inauguration of the Junior Division Mohanpur Court of the District and Sessions Judge was held in Mohanpur, with the presence of the Chief Minister of the state, Professor Dr. Manik Saha, M.S. Ramachandra Rao, Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court, and Minister of Power and Agriculture Department, Ratna Lal Nath. Also in attendance were Justice Dr. T. Amarnath Goud, Justice S. Datta Purkayastha, Justice B. Patil of the Tripura High Court, J.K. Sinha, Chief Secretary of the Tripura State Government, Chief Secretary of the Law Department, District Administrator of West Tripura, District Police Superintendent, lawyers, and local residents.
During the event, Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha praised Minister Ratna Lal Nath for transforming Mohanpur’s landscape. He mentioned that new wings have been added to Mohanpur’s development, emphasizing the need for swift resolution of cases and ensuring that anyone seeking legal services does not face any difficulties. He also assured the residents of Mohanpur that they would no longer need to go to Agartala for any legal matters.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by a large number of people, reflecting the significance of the establishment of the Junior Division Mohanpur Court. This court is expected to provide timely justice and legal services to the residents of Mohanpur and surrounding areas.
