The Iron Bridge collapses again in Kinaichar!
On Tuesday afternoon, the iron bridge built over the Lakshmichhara on the way from Kailashahar to Kinaichar collapsed, causing panic among the locals. This bridge collapse has completely disrupted communication between Kinaichar and the city, affecting nearly a thousand families. The incident resulted in injuries to the e-rickshaw driver and two women. Local MLA Birajit Sinha expressed anger at the indifference of the authorities.
Today, an electric auto along with a tripura and an electric auto broke down on the iron bridge located over the Lakshmichhara on the way from Gobindapur to Kinaichar. The collapse of this bridge has disrupted communication between the residents of Kinaichar and the city. Upon hearing the news of the bridge collapse, MLA Birajit Sinha, Vice Chairman of the Gaur Nagar Panchayat Samiti Badruzzaman, and others rushed to the scene. After inspecting the broken bridge, MLA Birajit Sinha and Vice Chairman of Gaur Nagar Panchayat Samiti Badruzzaman went to the Chief Executive Officer of the Public Works Department. They urgently demanded the construction of a new bridge for the smooth movement of people.
Meanwhile, district officials, the district police superintendent, the chairman of the municipal council, and local administrators have also visited the scene of the incident.
