Kishor Barman, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) representing the Nalchar constituency, has been given the responsibility of overseeing the Panchayat, Higher Education, and G.A. departments in Tripura. This decision was made by Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu on the advice of Chief Minister Manik Saha.
The allocation of these departments to Kishor Barman comes as the Tripura government aims to strengthen its administration and deliver efficient governance to the people of the state. With the addition of Kishor Barman, the state Cabinet now consists of 11 Ministers and one Minister of State, reflecting a diverse range of expertise and experience.
Kishor Barman took his oath of office and secrecy on July 3 at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, marking the beginning of his official duties as a Cabinet Minister. His appointment is expected to bring fresh perspectives and initiatives to the departments under his charge, contributing to the overall development and progress of Tripura.
As Kishor Barman assumes his new role, all eyes will be on the initiatives and policies he implements to enhance the functioning of the Panchayat, Higher Education, and G.A. departments. His track record as an MLA and his commitment to public service will undoubtedly shape the direction of these key areas in the coming months.
