Agartala Mayor Deepak Majumder conducted an inspection of the under-construction Jackson Gate City Hospital on Thursday to review progress on the upcoming healthcare facility. Officials briefed the Mayor on ongoing work and confirmed that the hospital is expected to be fully ready within the next three months.
During the visit, the Mayor examined various sections of the building, including patient wards, emergency units, diagnostic areas, and administrative blocks. He emphasised that the new hospital will significantly enhance medical services in the city and help reduce the load on existing healthcare centres.
City officials noted that once operational, Jackson Gate City Hospital will offer improved infrastructure, modern medical equipment, and better accessibility for residents of surrounding areas. The Mayor instructed the construction team to maintain quality standards and ensure timely completion of all pending work.
