Agartala, Tripura: A mega free health camp was organised on Sunday at the community hall of Nutannagar Girls’ High School through the joint initiative of the All Tripura Chemist and Druggist Association and Chhatra Brinda Club. The camp aimed to provide accessible healthcare services to local residents.
Specialist doctors offered free medical consultations, with a focus on eye care, dermatology, and diabetic treatment. Along with medical check-ups, patients were provided free blood tests and essential medicines, ensuring comprehensive support for early diagnosis and treatment.
Former MLA of Barjala and noted medical practitioner Dr Dilip Das was present at the health camp. Addressing the gathering, he stressed the importance of regular health check-ups and praised the organisers for taking such a meaningful initiative for public welfare.
Also present were the Secretary of the association, Biswajit Saha, along with other members and volunteers who contributed to the successful organisation of the camp. A large number of local residents benefited from the services, reflecting strong community participation.
Organisers stated that similar health camps will be arranged in the future to extend healthcare support to more areas across Tripura.
