Agartala, Nov. 22:
As part of the seven–day Special NSS Camp, a Mega Health Camp was organized on Saturday at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Higher Secondary School, drawing enthusiastic participation from students and volunteers. The initiative aimed to promote health awareness, legal literacy, and social responsibility among young learners.
During the health camp, students received free medical consultations, including blood testing, general health check–ups, and wellness advice from healthcare professionals. Doctors guided students on preventive care, hygiene, nutrition, and the importance of early detection of lifestyle-related diseases.
In addition to health services, the Tripura Legal Services Authority conducted an interactive legal awareness session, educating students on fundamental legal rights, child safety laws, cybercrime prevention, and access to legal aid. Experts emphasized the importance of legal literacy in building informed, responsible citizens.
Teachers praised the initiative for combining social service, education, and health consciousness under the National Service Scheme (NSS) ethos of “Not Me, But You.” The event helped empower students both medically and legally.
The camp successfully blended healthcare, legal education, and community service, creating a holistic learning environment for young learners.
