Shri Bikash Debbarma, the Hon’ble Minister for Tribal Welfare, has officially launched the “Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan” program on June 15, 2025, at 11 AM at Pragna Bhavan, Hall No.1, Gurkhabosti in Agartala. The program aims to promote community involvement and participation in various tribal welfare initiatives.
Joining the Minister at the inauguration ceremony will be Smt. Kriti Devi Debbarma, the Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Shri Sukla Charan Noatia, the Hon’ble Minister for TRP & PTG, and Shri Pramod Reang, the Hon’ble MLA, who will also be in attendance as Guests of Honour.
The “Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan” program is set to bring together government officials, community leaders, and members of the tribal community to discuss and address key issues affecting tribal welfare in the region. Through this initiative, the government aims to empower tribal communities and ensure their active participation in decision-making processes that impact their lives.
During the launch event, Minister Debbarma highlighted the importance of collaboration and cooperation between all stakeholders to drive positive change and development for tribal communities. He emphasized the need for inclusive policies and programs that prioritize the well-being and progress of tribal populations.

Through the “Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan,” the government hopes to strengthen the relationship between tribal communities and the administration, fostering a spirit of mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation.
