Shri Tinku Roy, Hon’ble Minister for Social Welfare and Social Education, attended the Parents’ Meet Programme organised today at Pragna Bhavan, Hall No. 3, Agartala, marking the observance of Adoption Awareness Month 2025.
The event aimed to promote awareness about legal adoption processes, support systems for adoptive parents, and the importance of providing secure and nurturing homes for children in need. Officials and experts addressed key issues related to child welfare, counselling, and the role of community participation in strengthening adoption practices.
Minister Tinku Roy appreciated the initiative and encouraged more families to come forward for lawful adoption. He highlighted the government’s ongoing commitment to ensuring transparency, safety, and emotional well-being in the adoption ecosystem across Tripura.
The programme saw active participation from parents, social workers, and representatives of child welfare agencies.
