In preparation for a massive organizational overhaul, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tripura Pradesh conducted a crucial Pradesh Prashikshan Yojana (State Training Plan) meeting today. Held at the state party headquarters in Krishnanagar, Agartala, the session focused on the upcoming “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan 2026.”
The meeting aimed to streamline the roadmap for training party Karyakartas (workers) across all levels—from the state and district down to the Mandal and Booth levels.
Top Leadership Outlines Training Goals
The meeting was attended by the top brass of the state unit, ensuring a unified strategy for the training campaign:
- Shri Rajdeep Roy, State In-charge (Prabhari), who provided national-level insights and directives.
- Shri Rajib Bhattacharjee, BJP State President, who presided over the session.
- Shri Nabendu Bhattacharjee, State Spokesperson, along with other senior organizational secretaries.
Strengthening Ideological Foundations
The Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan is a periodic initiative named after the party’s ideological icon, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. The 2026 edition focuses on:
- Ideological Training: Reaffirming the principles of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya among new and veteran members.
- Governance Awareness: Equipping workers with detailed knowledge of the developmental schemes launched by the PM Modi-led Central Government and the Dr. Manik Saha-led State Government.
- Digital Literacy: Training workers to effectively use social media and digital tools to counter misinformation and reach voters.
Key Decisions from the Meeting
- Tiered Workshops: The training will follow a “Train the Trainer” model, starting with state-level workshops, followed by district and Mandal-level camps.
- Mandate for All Districts: All eight districts of Tripura have been instructed to identify master trainers by the end of this month.
- Feedback Mechanism: A new system was discussed to track the performance and engagement levels of workers post-training.
