A one-day workshop organised by the Cooperation Department was held at the office of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS) at Dasharath Deb Bhavan, Agartala.
The workshop focused on strengthening the functioning of cooperative societies, reviewing existing policies, and enhancing administrative efficiency. Officials discussed procedures related to registration, monitoring, transparency, and capacity building of cooperatives across the state.
Participants included department officials, cooperative representatives, and staff associated with the Registrar of Cooperative Societies. The session aimed to create better coordination and awareness to ensure smooth implementation of cooperative laws and schemes in Tripura.
The programme was part of the department’s ongoing efforts to promote cooperative development and improve governance in the sector.
