In a beautiful display of communal harmony and spiritual devotion, the Agartala Gausia Samiti organized a grand Iftar party today at the “Baage Huda” Darbar Hall, located within the Indranagar Gausia Samiti Masjid premises. The event, held on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi celebrations, saw the participation of over 500 fasting devotees who gathered to break their fast and pray for world peace.
The atmosphere at the Indranagar Masjid was filled with religious fervor as people from all age groups, including children and the elderly, came together under one roof.
Munaajaat for Universal Harmony
Before the breaking of the fast (Iftar), a special Munaajaat (prayer) was conducted. The devotees raised their hands in collective supplication to Allah, seeking global peace, brotherhood, and the well-being of humanity. The sight of hundreds of people praying in unison for the welfare of the world touched the hearts of many in the locality.
A Celebration of Togetherness
The Iftar party served as a platform for strengthening community bonds. Elaborate arrangements were made by the Gausia Samiti to ensure that every guest was comfortably accommodated. The “Baage Huda” Darbar Hall was meticulously prepared for the gathering, reflecting the hospitality and spirit of the holy occasion.
Nazarul Islam Kadri, the Imam of Gausia Jame Masjid, shared his thoughts during the event:
“Today, through this Iftar, we have tried to spread the message of peace and unity. More than 500 brothers joined us today. Our main objective was to pray for ‘Vishwashanti’ (World Peace) and to remind everyone of the path of compassion and harmony shown by the Prophet.”
Enthusiasm Among Devotees
The event witnessed remarkable enthusiasm, particularly among the youth and children who assisted in the arrangements. The Gausia Samiti has been consistently organizing such social and religious gatherings, reinforcing Agartala’s tradition of religious tolerance and shared celebrations.
As the Maghrib call to prayer (Adhan) echoed, the devotees broke their fast together, sharing dates, fruits, and traditional delicacies, concluding a day of spiritual reflection and community service.
