Teachers are not just individuals, they are the ones who inspire us and whom we aspire to be like. Many people pay tribute to their own teachers on this day of Guru Purnima. In the month of Ashadha, many observe special prayers and fasts to show their reverence towards their teachers.
In Ramnagar, the First Mayor Deepak Mazumdar along with several other dignitaries visited the homes of some teachers in their area to express their gratitude. Initially, he felicitated prominent educator Dhananjay Gan Choudhury, the President of the Tripura Secondary Education Council, and later honored Dronacharya Coach Bisweshwar Nandi as well.
