Residents of Ambasa halt road construction work in protest against the use of substandard materials
Ambasa: Local residents in the peaceful area of Ambasa have erupted in extreme dissatisfaction over the ongoing road construction work in the area. Allegations have surfaced that in one part of the road, stones are being used while in another part, substandard bricks are being laid. This discrimination and the use of inferior materials in construction have led to the locals taking to the streets early this morning.
Local residents have stated, “This road has been in a poor condition for many years. Even though work has started after so long, the use of two different types of construction materials has raised concerns about the durability of the road.”
In response to the protests of the residents, the construction company responsible for the work has been compelled to temporarily halt the work. They have indicated that they will engage in discussions with the relevant authorities to decide on the next steps.
Local representatives of the residents have demanded immediate action and a thorough investigation into the matter. They insist, “Let the entire road construction work be done with quality and equal materials.”
The situation remains tense in Ambasa as residents continue to demand accountability and transparency in the road construction process. The authorities are expected to address the concerns of the residents and take necessary steps to ensure the quality and durability of the road.
