Amtali Police have successfully arrested a thief along with a stolen scooty from in front of the Hapania Mela ground. During further investigation, police also recovered another scooty and a motorcycle from the accused’s residence.Speaking to the media, SDPO Parmita Pandey provided details of the operation and said the arrest was made based on specific intelligence inputs. She added that the recovery of multiple vehicles indicates the possible involvement of the accused in other theft cases.The accused has been taken into custody and legal proceedings have been initiated. Further investigation is underway.
