Taj Group’s Indian Hotels Company Limited will be constructing a luxurious hotel at the location of the Capital’s Pushpavant Palace. Today, a memorandum of understanding regarding the land lease for the hotel was signed between the hotel authorities and the Tripura Institution for Transformation of Society, housed in the Chief Minister’s official residence. Present at the signing were Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Tourism Minister Sushant Choudhury, various officials from the state’s tourism department and corporation, and representatives from the hotel management.
