One person was tragically killed and seven others were injured in a suspected terrorist attack on tourists at the Baisaran mountain top in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22. The incident occurred around 2:30 pm when unidentified gunmen opened fire on a group of tourists who were on a trekking trip. Of the injured, three are locals and the other three are non-locals.
