Swami Vivekananda’s 164th birth anniversary was observed with reverence at the Students and Youth Bhavan at Mela Ground in Agartala on Sunday. Leaders and members of various organisations assembled at the venue and paid floral tributes to the portrait of Swami Vivekananda.Speaking on the occasion, the speakers reflected on the life, philosophy and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, highlighting his vision of nation-building and his emphasis on the empowerment of youth. They said that Swamiji’s thoughts and ideals continue to inspire society and are especially relevant for the younger generation in guiding the nation towards progress, enlightenment and unity.
