Tripura marked NCC Day 2025 with an energetic and large-scale celebration featuring a Cyclothon and Walkathon, jointly organised by the NCC Alumni Association and the 13th Tripura NCC Battalion. The event highlighted the spirit of fitness, discipline, and civic responsibility that the National Cadet Corps stands for.
The programme was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Sports Minister of Tripura, Tinku Roy, along with senior dignitaries and NCC officials. The Cyclothon and Walkathon began from the iconic Ujjayanta Palace in Agartala, drawing huge participation from NCC cadets, alumni, youth groups, and members of civil society.
Participants marched and cycled through the city streets, demonstrating unity, patriotism, and the core NCC values of service, leadership, and national pride. Organisers emphasised that such events inspire the youth to adopt healthier lifestyles while contributing to community development.
The NCC Alumni Association and the 13th Tripura NCC Battalion jointly coordinated the entire programme, making it one of the most vibrant NCC Day celebrations held in the state.
