Tripura Chief Minister inaugurates development projects worth 612 crores in the state till June this year
Agartala, June 21: Development is not just about infrastructure, but also about the development of human resources. The current state government is working in that direction. The government is not only focusing on infrastructure development but also giving special importance to the development of human resources. Today, Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated 19 development projects in Sabroom town of South Tripura district. On June 20, the Chief Minister virtually inaugurated 19 development projects worth 32 crores in South Tripura district. In addition to the Chief Minister, the inaugural ceremony was attended by Cooperation Minister Shuklacharan Noatia, President of South Tripura Zilla Parishad Deepak Datta, Chairperson of Sabroom Nagar Panchayat Rama Poddar De, DM Kajjang Mog, prominent social worker Deepayan Choudhury, former MLA Shankar Roy, South Tripura District Magistrate and Collector Mohammad Sajjad P. Chief. In his speech, the Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha said that development work is underway throughout the state. Many more development projects are in the pipeline. The foundation has been laid for several development projects. The state government is working towards the goal of building a developed India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Everyone will come together to build a prosperous India. Construction is being done for schools, health facilities, fire stations, office buildings, etc. Development work is being carried out through cleanliness. The Chief Minister said that development projects worth 612 crores have been inaugurated in the state till June this year. This includes the construction of new solid houses for schools, school renovation, office construction, health buildings, etc. Education is given the highest importance in the field of development. In addition, the development of indigenous peoples in the state has also been given more importance. 1400 crore is being spent on the development of indigenous peoples. Significant development has taken place in the health sector in the state. 9 super-specialty departments have been started. Doctors from outside the state are also coming to the state. They are providing medical services. The highest importance is being given to job creation. Through cleanliness, 19,000 government jobs have been created. In addition, another 5,000 state-level support teams have been formed. The government is working with more importance for the development of women. Millionaire Didis, Drone Didis have been created and they are being trained. Opportunities are being increased in the job market by giving importance to pineapple and fruit cultivation, rubber plantations, fisheries, animal husbandry, and tourism.
At the same time, extensive development work is underway in the state, including the establishment of new hospitals, fisheries colleges, Dharmananda International Buddhist University, Nursing and Para Medical Colleges, Open Universities, and Vocational Training Institutes. Significant improvements have been made in law and order in the state. The people of the state now have confidence in my government.
Cooperation Minister Shuklacharan Noatia said at the event that the Chief Minister has paid special attention to the development of South districts. He thanked the Chief Minister for inaugurating various development projects in the region. Today, Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the newly constructed solid building of the 100-bed girls’ hostel at Sarum High School. At the event, two citizens were given Ayushman cards, and voter identity cards were handed to 2 new voters. The memorial ‘Shricharanesu’, published at the Baishakhi fair in Sabroom, was handed over to the Chief Minister by Rama Poddar De, Chairperson of Sarum Nagar Panchayat.
