Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha celebrated the progress the state has made in key sectors such as health, education, and sports during his tenure. In a media address on the third anniversary of his assuming office, Dr. Saha expressed gratitude for the trust the people have placed in the government, which he believes has been instrumental in driving the state’s development journey.
Reflecting on his three years in office, Dr. Saha remarked, “It’s hard to believe three years have passed. We’ve worked tirelessly, and the days have flown by. What we’ve achieved will one day be seen as a significant chapter in Tripura’s growth story—but there’s still much to do.”
Dr. Saha recalled his appointment as Chief Minister in 2022, noting that the past three years have been dedicated to serving the people with transparency and dedication. He emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing fundamental issues and improving the lives of its citizens, stating, “Addressing people’s basic problems remains a key goal. We will continue moving in this direction.”
The Chief Minister credited the success of various initiatives to public support and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He highlighted the central government’s support in sanctioning welfare-oriented projects and the state’s effective implementation of these initiatives, noting the positive feedback received.
Dr. Saha pointed to achievements in the education sector, particularly through the Vidya Jyoti initiative, as well as progress in health, agriculture, electricity, and sports. He acknowledged that challenges remain in some areas but affirmed the government’s commitment to overcoming them. He stated, “People are witnessing the changes and are happy with the results.”
